The BEST thing that I can offer any candle lover is the Wick Dipper and Wick Trimmer.....By far my favorites.

***Wick Trimmer...Made of stainless steel. Easy to use trimmer allows you to evenly cut the wick to the proper 1/4" before EACH burn..rather than awkwardly using scissors and cutting into the wax. Has a debris tray for a clean and effortless trim. EASY way to trim Jar candles, pillars and candles in hurricanes.
